Well one of my old high school friends recently told me what her major and minor subjects were. She’s a freshman at Texas A&M and im a freshman at Tarleton State. She’s majoring in biology and minoring in music and will possibly pursue teacher certification. So thats awesome and stuff

Well, to me its a bit amusing because i remember times i would bug her about how a good 25% of our class wanted to become teachers in a certain field, whether it be elementary, math, spanish, science, or of course band. And i used to tease her and say she should be a biology teacher at whatever school i was teaching at. Reason being is because the people in my class thought that it would be cool to teach at the same school (pipe dream..DONT RUIN IT) because we wouldnt have to spend too much time getting to know each other and such lol. So im probably turning into a worse influence than i already am by each passing day. lol

I just hope that I’m not causing anything bad to happen due to the above. :/ I guess I’ll find out sooner or later.

Oh well… I have a test tomorrow and it will be easy! Peace homeskillets.

Okies, im gonna start with Monday.

Monday, twas greatness. marching band was like…20 minutes long, and then i goofed around until the Wind Ensemble concert. GREATNESS. Of course, I was an idiot and ran into the auditorium with my ticket and DIDNT sign in. Yep, i ran by the stands with the sign in sheet. BUT thanks to Dr. Pollard vouching for me, and Debbie being awesome, they fixed it. +1 to ensemble & recital attendances.

I warmed up… got tired… went home… sorry

Tuesday

LOL.. okies Piano.. we did Group 3 scales and i practiced the Leopold Mozart piece for proficiency. I swear my left hand doesnt want to move with the other one when it’s supposed to! But doth not find problems in thy hands. ‘Tis me brain that refuses to function for thee.

Anywho… my practice today was some sightreading for trumpet chior (as if i were in it…. yeah…) and it went well till I got to quarter not triplets with a rest in the beginning of triplet 1. I got it after Tackett showed me though! TIS AWESOMES. Thats bout it..

Note to self: ask pollard if im performing tomorrow for trumpet chior.

Thursday was such a drag. It started out horrible and ended up being awesome in the end. The awesome part was the chior concert. I’m not particularly a fan of chior, and the fact that I’m required to attent a chior concert blows; however, the concert last night was great. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was expecting something I would have much rather skipped. So afterwords, I drank the koolaid and lived, then some girl got mad at me….then I went home and slept… The end…

Oh and I plan on attending the Wind Ensemble concert next Monday (10/20)!

7:30 in the Auditorium peoples!

I got up to TSU at about 10am… i’ve tried practicing scales because today is my midterm for Dr. Pollard. I’m not too sure i’ll remember them when i get to my lesson at 11am, but I’m sure i’ll be ok enough to keep going.

I practiced (or think i did) any of the scales i think i couldnt do efficiently… i didnt practice C, G, F, and Bb scales becasue i already know those by heart…I guess i’ll find out at noon. @_@

At the beginning of the day it was full of …. “urgkjarjagfiasbdkajsdgaksfgiwurgoiwufgdasi7e3648273gajksdb” type brain waves until i found myself at TSU.. mas progresso in teh piano class. Fundies…same… I slept through math with my eyes open and found out i have a test to take thursday. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. So anywho.. i left at about uhh… i dont remember, but anywho. i got mat for the first time in a long time. Those that have seen me mad, have only seen me mad once or twice in the past 2-3 years…

and then i took it out on someone who i wish to keep anonymous. And then i went to go practice.. i didnt get much done because i felt like crap that i took it out on someone completely innocent, until she asks certain questions that make no sense.

So I asked someone out, and she hasnt gotten back to me about it yet, which is fine…i have patience and its best not to rush an answer. Then she asks me if it would be ok to date someone younger than her. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL? I felt like crap and i answered with my honest opinion. I also answered more questions because she said she thinks she’ll try some younger guy…………… so i got mad. :/ took it out on her…… i felt bad afterwards and she said it was ok and that she deserved it. So i dunno. i went to bed.. i didnt practice because i felt like crap and the times i did make a noise on my trumpet, it dove me nuts.

Oh Monday was great. I woke up as usual… watched Employee of the month and ultimately, did nothing all day until about noon, left homoe at about 12:30pm and got to TSU at oh… 1:15ish… practiced some, read through scales and … attempted memorization. WHEEHEEE
